Single Red DJ Laser - The Basic Laser Unit

I’m here to review single red DJ laser lights. It’s an extremely cheap way to turn a starting out light set-up into something professional. Not many people have much experience with laser lights but when an individual does take them time to learn and experiment with different kinds it can be well worth the time.

Single red laser lights are easy to use and are a plug-in and go style unit. There’s simply a sensitivity knob in the back to control how sensitive it is to music. This doesn’t allow much control such as if you were using a DMX style light but it does allow for extremely quick set-up. You can simply hang it to a lighting rig or even put it on a table, plug it in play some music and you’re ready to go and have a show. Though one quick trick you can do is if you don’t want your laser on all the time is to simply hook it up to an individual power bar and when needed, you can just flip the switch. This is good if you want to give your laser some solo time or want to cycle through different lights with the laser or not.

Now that we’ve talked about the function it’s time to move on to the color, the red color is one of my favourites when it comes to the laser color. It’s good in the fact that it’s one of the cheapest & though it may be more common everyone still loves red laser lights when they see one as they still aren’t as common as green, not to mention they can be combined with a lot of different colors such as green & purple to create whole unique shows. The red color is good in the fact that though it may be one of the more solid beam units it still has the dark underground style look which can definitely be used to your advantage during a build up to a song etc. when all the huge bright lights can shine.

Lastly we can talk about the different red lasers available, there’s duals, quads and even animation. Of course they all go up in price but one thing you can always know is the red diode is the cheapest available and because of this you’ll be able to get more powerful and higher-tech lasers for cheaper than your other colors. This makes it the perfect addition to someone on a budget looking to create some variety within their light show.
